Paris management denies share sale scenarios after World Cup in Qatar
Reports in the international press said that the Parisian government was seriously considering selling the team’s shares after the World Cup in Qatar, but Parisian leaders denied the scenarios.
Paris Saint-Germain owners have denied reports they would leave the team after the World Cup in Qatar.
These publications spoke of the dissatisfaction of the Qatari owners due to the possible departure of many stars from the team, but also of the dissatisfaction felt on their side from the team’s fans.
In fact, they reported that with the departure of the team, President Nasser Al Kelaifi will also leave Paris. The Qataris acquired the team in August 2012 with ambitious plans. The team may have dominated Ligue 1 in general but they still haven’t managed to win the Champions League, which is also the team’s goal.
