Jerome Roten: “Pochettino was not informed of Messi’s whereabouts”
Paris Saint-Germain veteran Jerome Rotten insisted that Messi disrespected Pochettino for failing to inform him of his whereabouts during the Christmas holidays.
After a week of quarantine in Rosario, Lionel Messi failed the PCR test and was thus out of quarantine. The Argentine tested positive in his home country during the Christmas holidays and delayed his return to France.
The veteran of the Parisians, Jerome Rothen, spoke in his statements on Radio Montecarlo about the disrespect of the Argentine star: “You always have to respect his trainer. They taught me that. Above all, the coach has to be, regardless of whether he is a star or a young player. The trainer always has to be the boss.
Pochettino was not informed of Messi’s whereabouts, and that explains a lot. “It’s not a good sign and I think it’s shocking for Messi.”
According to reports in France, Pochettino learned from third parties, rather than himself, that Messi was positive for the coronavirus.
