Neymar has compared the Saudi league to the French league he has played in in recent years, claiming summer signings have raised the standard of football in the Middle East.
Neymar is one of the footballers who made the big decision to move to the Middle East. Al Hilal announced his signing in August.
Speaking at Brazil’s press conference ahead of their 2026 World Cup qualifier against Bolivia, the 30-year-old striker referred to Saudi Arabia’s league and compared it to one of the best European countries: France, where he played for six years (2017). -2023).
“The ball is round and there is a goal. Given the players who have arrived, I don’t know if the Saudi league is better than the French league.”
It will not be easy and very interesting. I want to win titles with Al Hilal. Many wise men have spoken, but only I know what happened, because in the end I went to Al Hilal, but that is none of your business, only mine.” said the Brazilian star.
