Paris Saint-Germain: UEFA is targeting the sale of players to Qatari clubs
The responsible UEFA committee is examining the legality of the transfers of Parisian players to Qatari clubs with which the Parisians balanced their balance sheets.
“Equipe” brought UEFA’s investigation into Paris Saint-Germain to light. This time the Parisians are in the crosshairs because of the sales they have made in recent days.
Especially for the cases of Marco Verratti, Abdou Diallo and Julian Draxler. The first two were sold to Al Arabi and the German to Al Ahli.
What prompted the relevant UEFA committee to mobilize was the fact that these three sales were made to Qatari clubs.
At the same time, the total revenue from these three moves totaled 80 million euros, an amount necessary for Paris to balance its books.
Given the relationship between the management of the Parisians and Qatar, this prompted the responsible UEFA committee to open a file and investigate whether everything happened legally.
