Lille – Lance 1-2: Won the North Derby and is chasing Europe

Lance took the breath away from Lille in the Derby du Nord and won 2-1 in Ligue 1 after winning the cup in ‘Pierre Moreau’.

Her third success in a row lance on her small (the second this year after being eliminated in the cup) in the Derby du Nord was also the sweetest, having avenged last year’s fall at “Felix Bolar”. The victory with 2-1 for the 32nd game of Ligue 1 made for an overtaking manoeuvre, with the “lansouas” hoping for a European “ticket”.

Only in the 4th minute Premislav Frankovski lit the derby and opened the score for the guests. Arno Calimuedo made it 2-0 in the 37th minute, although the French champions had their own good moments, culminating in Renato Sanchez’s crossbar.

In the delays of the 1st part, Xeka reduced the score to 1-2 and turned the 2nd half around in the ‘lilouas’ attempt to cause a stir. The guests were limited to two (missed) finals, but the hosts were no more accurate. Their second crossbar from Edon Zegrova was also the best moment, going 1-2 to the end.
