Shock in France: Nice player threatens to fall off a bridge
A frightening scene shakes French football. A young Nice player is reportedly on the Manian Viaduct, threatening to fall off and end his life.
Not only the public opinion of French football was shocked on Friday (29/09) at lunchtime by an unusual and at the same time frightening news: According to reports, a Nice player was found on the Manian viaduct on the A8 motorway and was in danger of dying Life.
The viaduct in question runs towards Italy-Aix-en-Provence. Information from French media suggests that the player who allegedly stopped his car on a hard shoulder and allegedly prepared to plunge into the void was Alessis Beka.
The same media reported that the police and fire department were immediately on the scene and were negotiating with him to convince him not to carry out his threat and save his life. They are accompanied by a psychologist sent by the club who takes part in the crucial discussions with the player.
As previously known, due to the seriousness of the situation, the Nice management announced that all team events planned for Friday involving interviews with journalists have been postponed.
