He sat on a bridge for hours, threatening to jump off, but was rescued thanks to the timely and coordinated intervention of the police, fire brigade and the people of Nice.


The concrete viaduct is located in the direction of Italy-Aix-en-Provence and is 100 meters high. According to information from the French media, a psychologist sent by the Nice team was also involved in the negotiations.

As it became known, due to the seriousness of the situation, the Nice administration announced that all team events planned for Friday (press conference, etc.) have been postponed.


As for Beka, Beka signed a contract with Nice in June 2022, with the player playing 14 games last season but not making any appearances this year.

In his CV he also mentions a move from Russia on behalf of Lokomotiv Moscow, but also from Caen, the team in which he took his first steps while participating at national team level with France in the Tokyo Olympics in the summer of 2021.
