Messi loses the match with Angers

Lionel Messi will miss Paris Saint-Germain’s championship match against Angers with an Achilles tendon infection.

Paris Saint-Germain meet Angers in their 33rd Ligue 1 game away on Wednesday (20/4) in a game where Mauricio Pochettino will not have Lionel Messi available.

The Argentina star, who shared three assists with Clermont in the game, was ruled out by knockout Inflammation of the Achilles tendon while treatment has already started.

In the press conference, Pochettino explained that he would be examined again on Thursday (April 21). This is an important game as the Parisian club will reach 77 points in case of victory.
