Nine arrests for the Marseille-Lyon incidents
French authorities have made nine arrests in connection with the Marseille-Lyon incidents that led to Fabio Grosso’s injury and the postponement of the match.
Marseille’s Matchday 10 Ligue 1 game against Lyon has been postponed due to pre-match incidents. Marseille fans threw stones at the “Goons” coach and injured him, among other things the club’s coach, Fabio Grosso.
According to French media reports, authorities arrested nine people as a result of the incidents, while the government itself responded immediately. At the same time, investigations are underway to find additional perpetrators.
