Grosso: “What happened on Sunday could be a tragedy, a lesson”
Fabio Grosso sent a message via social media about the events before Marseille – Lyon and his serious injury.
Last Sunday (October 29th) there were serious incidents before the meeting between Marseille and Lyon at the Velodrome, which ultimately did not take place. The club’s coach was pelted with stones and Fabio Grosso was seriously injured in the face.
The Lyon coach uploaded a photo from the Veldrome with his injured face a few days later and wrote: “What happened on Sunday could be a tragedy, and it certainly was for the sport and those who love it.
I hope with all my heart that it is the lesson for our future. Thank you all for your support.” This is how he conveyed his message after the tragic event.
