According to a Spanish show, Real have decided not to sign Mbappe in the summer
Spanish journalist Jesus Gagego has claimed in a broadcast in Spain that Real have decided not to make a move for Kylian Mbappe in the summer.
Jesus Gagego dropped a bombshell when he spoke to Cadena SER about Real and Kylian Mbappe.
According to the Spanish journalist, the Parisian superstar is no longer a target for Madrid, although he remains a target for the French in the summer.
The 24-year-old international striker had decided not to unilaterally extend his contract with Paris for another year, as was the previous agreement between both teams, with the result that he was excluded from the team last summer.
Real have been trying to sign Mbappe for years and this seemed to be their chance to sign him financially. From January 1st, Paris’ top scorer can sign a pre-contract with any team.
When Mbappe was asked at the recent Ballon d’Or ceremony whether he would play for Real in the summer of 2024, he winked mischievously, triggering scenarios for an existing deal. However, Real issued a statement saying that no negotiations had taken place with the player’s side.
