Marseille also defeated Reims 1-0, taking a crucial step towards 2nd place in Ligue 1.
Marseille’s amazing streak has continued lately, with ten wins in eleven games in all competitions (losing only to Paris) thanks to the away game 1-0 on her reims (from Taso’s Donis out of action) for the 34th game of Ligue 1.
Marseille found the only goal of the game with Gerson in 83′, only looking for a few minutes in the second half in what was otherwise a fairly balanced game, with a low pace and neither team can create many good moments.
Marseille’s win brings them even closer to the ‘suspension’ of second place in the table leading to the Champions League groups.
