Mbappe: “I told Enrique that he wouldn’t have a problem with me, I took his criticism well”
Kylian Mbappe stressed that he did not take offense at Luis Enrique’s criticism and stressed that he had been clear to his coach from the start.
Luis Enrique stole the show with his comments in the Reims-Paris final, which was decided by Mbappe’s hat-trick. The Spaniard emphasized that he was not happy with the Frenchman and that he could help his team more.
The French superstar was asked about the coach’s criticism and didn’t seem to have a problem with it: “I think I handled it very well, he’s a great coach and he can teach me a lot.”
In fact, Mbappe made it clear that he had made it clear to Enrique from the first moment that he would not cause him any problem: “From day one I told him he wouldn’t have a problem with me.
I always worked very well with the coaches I had.” said the French superstar explicitly.
