Eventually Genesio from Rennes took over Stefan
Bruno Genesio left Rennes after about 2.5 years. Julien Stephan is the new French coach.
THE Bruno Genezio paid the marble of their ugly results wren in Ligue 1 and after 2.5 years on the club bench is a thing of the past.
The French coach resigned for personal reasons, the announcement from Panathinaikos’ opponents in the Europa League said, as he faced several pressures, particularly from fans.
The 57-year-old took over the office in March 2021 Julian Stephen and at the end of his first full season in Brittany he was named Ligue 1’s best coach.
Rennes has had a poor start to the season and is just one point above the relegation zone despite topping the Europa League group.
The government announced that his predecessor, who was sacked by Strasbourg last January and has been free since then, is taking power.
