Lionel Messi is not on the list of nominees for the Ligue 1 Player of the Year award, while it is the first time the Argentine has not claimed the award after 13 years.

In fact, this is the first time since the 2008/09 season that the Argentinian star will not claim this accolade as he has been on the list for 13 consecutive years.
However, Paris Saint-Germain are represented by Killian Ebape, while the other four candidates are Paget, Ben Genter, Terrier and Paketa.
