Finally, Lille’s Burak Yilmaz extended Fode by one season
Lille announced that Burak Yilmaz will not continue in Lilua, unlike Fonte who renewed for another year.
Burak Gilmaz will not continue his career at Lille, the French club have announced. The Turkish striker was a cornerstone for the French in winning the league last season. In a total of 72 appearances, he scored 25 goals and won two titles, two of his best years, as he explained in his parting words.
Unlike Yilmaz, the “Lilua” decided to keep experienced Portuguese stopper Jose Fode for another year. The Lille captain has played in every game this season and is the footballer who has played in the top five leagues more than anyone.
