Di Maria broke down in tears as he left Paris Saint-Germain
Angel di Maria said goodbye to the people of Paris Saint-Germain on Saturday evening (May 21), who adored him with standing ovations, with the Argentinean not being able to hold back his tears.
The people of Paris Saint-Germain experienced intense emotions on Saturday evening (May 21), seeing Killian Ebape extend his contract and stay in Paris on the one hand and Angel di Maria leaving on the other.
The veteran midfielder said goodbye to the Parisians’ friends in the best way as he was the one who made it 5-0. Both he and his wife cried in the stands as this was his last game against the French champions.

In his statements, he even revealed that he suggested Neymar get his shirt number: ““I told Messi to take Neymar’s number 10 and Neymar to take my number 11 next season.” Regarding Ebape’s stay, he said: “He made the right decision. He’s very young, he has time to go to Real.”
