Lacazette returns to Lyon after five years at Arsenal

After a full five years in the Premier League with the Arsenal shirt, Alexandre Lacazette returns to his homeland. “Equipe” revealed that the France forward has agreed to wear the Lyon shirt again.

Lyon has been a warm footballing home for Alexandre Lacazette after he made his name there playing for them from 2010 to 2017 and everything shows she’s ready to open his arms again.

According to Equipe’s report today, the 31-year-old striker will not continue his career at Arsenal, where he has been with for the past five years and whose contract expires at the end of June, while the Lions are watching him closely and persuading him to join his case to return home.

The Gunners found out about the proposal made to him by Olympique this week from the player himself and did not enter proceedings to contest it, with the player now counting down to make his official announcement from the Lions side ‘ after 206 appearances to get 71 goals with the Gunners in all competitions.
