Lance – Marseille 0-2: show of strength and 2nd place
Lance had the opportunity to get close to Marseille, but the Marseilles showed strength in “Bolar” and went into the 22nd game of Ligue 1 with a 2-0 win.
The defeat in the Ligue 1 table behind Paris gave the “Bolar” match a derby dimension in between lance and Marseilles. The guests had different opinions when they won 2-0 Regained 2nd place overall.
Jorge Sampaoli’s players had the upper hand from the start, with possession exceeding 60% at times. They could have taken the lead with Valentin Ronzier if they hadn’t been unlucky as the French midfielder’s shot hit the crossbar first, then Wilker Farinies’ back and finally the crossbar. However, a few minutes later Mateo Gentuzi won a penalty in the small area and Dmitri Paget opened the scoring.
With the lead in the 1st half, the guests rested a little, without the “lansua” being able to find many allusions, with a few exceptions. Sampaoli had another ace up his sleeve and threw it in the 74th minute. Cedric Bacabou made his debut with Massalos and scored three minutes later to ‘secure’ the win.
