Liverpool found them with Monaco for Minamino
Takumin Minamino is set to leave Liverpool, who she found with Monaco for the sale of the Japanese striker.
His tenure turns out to be short Takumi Minamino at Liverpool. The Reds found them with Monaco at €15,000,000 for the Japanese striker who never found the spot he wanted in Gyrgen Klopp’s rotation.
The 27-year-old national player cost 8,500,000 in January 2020, but found a different environment in England than in Salzburg. He played at least 90 minutes in a total of 53 games and scored 14 goals (three assists).
The interim takeover of Diego Zota, Luis Diaz and Darwin Nounies made things even more difficult for Minamino, who had a contract until 2024, as Monaco intervened and demanded him from the English club.
The discussions between the two groups agreed that the amount would be repaid in five installments. The Monegasques pay another 3,000,000 in the form of a bonus.
