Tite: ‘Neymar is not the problem, he is the solution’
Brazil coach Tito referred to Neymar and stressed that those coaches who use him as a winger are incompetent.
After the intense rumors surrounding Neymar’s departure from Paris Saint-Germain, Brazil coach Tito expressed his full support for the Brazilian, stressing that he is the solution and not the problem.
“Neymar is not the problem, he is the solution. Sometimes they say he will make more mistakes in the center. Sure, his position makes him make more mistakes, but if he is creative he will be decisive.”
When Tito took over the technical leadership of the Brazil national team in 2016, Neymar was the team’s left winger. In his interview at Globoesporte claimed it’s for him Fool any trainer uses him to the max and doesn’t exploit his properties for the center.
“When a manager pisses Neymar off, I call him a fool. A player with these characteristics severely limits their creative ability. He’ll make more mistakes, yes, because his creative ability and the place he’s in require it.”
He played on the left wing in 25 of the 28 games he scored with Paris that season.
