Vitinia signed in Paris until 2027
Paris Saint-Germain have announced their first transfer of the summer, signing Portugal international Vitinia from Porto on a five-year deal.
Paris fans haven’t heard the name of the man who will succeed Maurizio Pochettino on the bench, but they have known about their team’s first summer transfer since Thursday night.
It’s none other than Vitinia, who was rumored to have signed a deal with Porto two weeks ago (for the not inconsiderable sum of €40,000,000), with the French champions announcing his contract with the player until summer 2027.
“It’s a very strong challenge that awaits me and I can’t wait to get started. Ligue 1 is a strong league, fast where the teams are strong and compact. I’ll try to play the football I know and help the team as best I can to achieve their goals.
It’s always the right time to come to a club like Paris, especially for me as I’ve just had my best season at Porto. I won titles and managed to get international caps with Portugal, which was a dream for me.
