Lacazette was attacked by bees and is a doubt for Feyenoord-Lyon
Alexandre Lacazette’s summer training session with Lyon did not get off to the best start as the French striker suffered ten bee stings and is doubtful for Sunday’s friendly against Feyenoord.
After quite a decent presence in the Premier League with the Arsenal shirt, Alexandre Lacazette made the decision to return home and Lyon once again opened their arms to field a ‘child of their own’.
However, his first days in his second spell at Lyon began with an unusual and ugly incident which saw the France international attacked in a bee forest as part of his summer training session in the Netherlands and receiving a total of 10 stings which resulted in him requiring medical attention.
According to “Equipe”, this injury may even put him out of the friendly against Feyenoord on Sunday (July 24) as the 31-year-old striker has already completed three days of training.
The same media also report that his Lyon team-mate Moussa Dembele was also a victim of bees a few days ago, with the former Lyon, Celtic and Fulham striker returning to training on Thursday and getting more chances to feature in the game against Rotterdam .
