Kasper Schmeichel has left Leicester after eleven years, the England team announced on Wednesday (3/8) and will continue his career in Nice, where Aris will appear in the Conference League play-offs if they clear their Maccabi Tel Aviv hurdle.
During his time at the club, the 35-year-old goalkeeper has made 478 appearances, kept 147 clean sheets and celebrated four titles.
His contract with the French Riviera club runs for three years, while Leicester flushes around 1.2 million euros in the coffers. Nice announced the veteran goalkeeper with an impressive VIDEO in which they dubbed him a ‘Viking’.
The Foxes have been looking for a replacement for the Danish goalkeeper for some time, with Odysseus Vlachodemos at the top of their list.
