Manchester United “chocks” in Paris for Dembele
Manchester United dealt Barcelona a final blow for Usman Dembele to close the gap at Greenwood but they have little hope of spoiling Paris Saint-Germain’s deal with the Catalans.
The developments at Mason Greenwood, who were banned from Manchester United after allegations of hitting and sexually abusing his partner, forced them to look for an extreme midfielder.
The Red Devils were interested in Usman Dembele but went on to an official strike in Barcelona for the French midfielder after this development. However, the Catalans have already linked up with Paris Saint-Germain which is likely to derail the English effort.
The agreement between Paris and Barcelona was revealed by the same media (FootMercato). Dembele has played for Barcelona since 2017 when he was acquired from Dortmund for €140m. He has played a total of 129 times and scored 31 goals.
