Marseille have teamed up with Roma for Vertou
Marseille will join Jordan Vertou on loan after a deal with Roma was finalized on Thursday (4/8).
Jordan Vertou is ready to sign his new contract following the final agreement between Marseille and Roma. The two clubs decided to loan the 29-year-old midfielder out for the upcoming season with a €11m purchase option.
The option to buy will be activated automatically if the Frenchman plays 15 games for Marseille while Marseille pays 100% of his salary.
The two sides are ready to announce their final decision immediately to complete his transfer to the French team.
It is recalled that Jordan Vertou has been at the Romans since 2020 when he was acquired from Fiorentina while he played in a total of 50 games last season, scoring four goals and providing ten assists.
