Mbappe misses Paris’ Ligue 1 opener through injury

Paris will be without Kylian Mbappe for Saturday night’s Ligue 1 opener against Clermont as the French striker is sidelined with an injury.

After the Supercup game against Nantes in Israel (4-0 triumph and Paris’ first title of the season), Kylian Mbappe will be on Saturday (6/8, 22:00, Novasports 2HD, LIVE from Sportish) away against Clermont for their opener league 1.

Caused by an injury problem he has been struggling with in the adductor area for a few days, Christophe Gaultier has pushed him out of the squad and Paris have said they will give an update on his injury next Monday ahead of the game against Montpellier which follows on June 2.
