Paris give Zidane legendary deal ready to hunt down Leonardo
Zinedine Zidane is the big target of Paris Saint-Germain, who were ready to fire the club’s sporting director Leonardo as the Frenchman doesn’t agree with his manipulations but also offer him a colossal contract.
Paris Saint-Germain’s ‘chosen one’ is Zinedine Zidane, who appears to be a suitable successor to Mauricio Pochettino. Parisian club officials have informed the Argentine coach that he will leave him at the end of the season.
The team’s poor results, combined with Nis’ exclusion from the French Cup quarter-finals, has led him to the exit door. In fact, according to Parisien, the club tried to persuade Zidane to sign in winter and take over the team’s technical leadership.
However, the former Real Madrid technical coach’s response was negative as he contradicted her internal running of the team and in particular the handling of the sporting director Leonardo, while also disagreeing with the current technical staff.
A report by Footmercato claims Parisian President Nasser Al Kelaifi was ready to fire Leonardo to convince the 49-year-old Frenchman to sign. At the same time, the information says that Paris is offering him a colossal salary, much higher than Pochettino’s current salary, which is 8 million euros per year.
