Christian Eriksen is now officially counting on his return to action as he has been a Brentford player since last Monday (31/01) and has signed with the club until the end of the season.

His arrival in England is expected on Sunday (6/2), while he will have his first training session with his new team on Monday. Brentford manager Thomas Frank described Erisken’s transfer as the biggest in the club’s history.

At the same time, he claimed the 29-year-old is in good physical shape but it is not known when he will be able to make his debut with the Bees.

“What happened in June was a shock for everyone.” This is the best transfer in the club’s history. The day Christian takes the field is going to be an incredible day. It will be great to see him on the pitch soon, it’s going to be a wonderful day. It’s a wonder he feels ready to play football again.

Christian will arrive on Sunday and train with the team on Monday. It will be his first training session. He has a personal fitness trainer and had two Zoom meetings with our boss.

He is in stable physical condition. He has been running and exercising a lot in the last month. The base is good, but matching the intensity of the fight we need is another matter. When it will be available is more or less impossible to say. “I’ll be a lot clearer on Monday when I see him and talk to his coach.” Frank characteristically said.
