Adidas withdrew its sponsorship from Zuma due to the Frenchman’s cat abuse
Kurt Zuma is still facing the consequences after the cat abuse he endured as Adidas announced through an announcement that it was withdrawing its sponsorship in light of the French soccer player.
The video, taken by his brother Kurt Zuma, showing the West Ham centre-back abusing his cat, has gone viral across social media in the last 24 hours. The footballer is now in the vortex of the cyclone.
Reactions to his face were intense and actually forced West Ham to punish him with a two-week pay cut of £250,000, while a fresh blow to his reputation came hours after the East London team’s decision.
This came through Adidas, a sports company with which it had a partnership, whose people thoroughly investigated the specific case and announced on Wednesday that their slightest relationship with Zuma no longer exists.
“We have completed our investigation and can confirm that Kurt Zuma is no longer an athlete bound by a contract with Adidas.” it says in the announcement.
