Zuma will be taking animal behavior classes
Kurt Zuma has been facing the consequences of his actions over the past few days, particularly the abuse of his cat, but David Moyes revealed he will receive help and attend animal treatment courses.
West Ham manager David Moyes revealed in the press conference ahead of Sunday’s game against Leicester (13/2) that Kurt Zuma is still seen as normal despite the harsh criticism he has received for abusing his cat.
The English club, for their part, punishes the centre-back with the highest possible fine that could be imposed on him for his crime. this is the deduction of two weeks’ wages, ie ,000 250,000.
However, the Scotland manager is unwilling to be relinquished on the France international’s services, evidenced by the fact that he gave him a base shirt in the game against Watford, while he wants to do the same for Sunday’s game against ‘Foxes’ .
In fact, he revealed that Zuma will be receiving help and attending a series of courses from an institution in England that works to promote animal welfare and how to treat them.
“I don’t think the club could have taken more and more immediate action than they did. West Ham did a very good job in punishing him as heavily as they could. We all agree that what he did was unacceptable. But we decided to play and we insist.
We are so disappointed. He’s a far cry from Kurt’s character. He’s a very good boy. We will bring him help, he needs help.
People who may have experienced traffic violations often need to take driving lessons to learn the reasons and consequences. The RSPCA (UK Animal Welfare Foundation) will share with us some of Kurt’s lessons about animals and how we treat them.
We will do everything we can to make sure Kurt sees, understands and improves. He’s really very disappointed. “Incredibly remorseful.” said Moyes at the press conference.
