Guardiola for Kane: “All of England knows his class, we didn’t have to see those goals”
Pep Guardiola took his hat off to Harry Kane after his impressive performance at Etihad to give Tottenham victory and stressed that Manchester City’s attempt to take him on is a thing of the past.
Harry Kane was undoubtedly the person that caught everyone’s eye at Manchester City – Tottenham, firstly in that after the Manchester Blues’ failed attempts to make him their Summer 2021, he went first against both teams at the Etihad and the Endspiel stood for his incredible offensive crescendo.
Until recently, the England captain had never scored against a Pep Guardiola side, but he did twice on Saturday night to play a catalytic role in Spurs’ dominance in a 3-2 win over the Citizens in the Premier League’s 26th game . .

“Everyone knows we were interested in Kane, but we couldn’t get him. That’s part of the past.
