West Yorkshire Police have arrested nine Leeds fans found on Eland Road in a clash with Manchester United. The allegations include throwing objects, one of which hit Elanga. The English Football Association is also investigating the incident.
English media report that West Yorkshire Police have arrested nine people who were in the stands at Eland Road during the Leeds v Manchester United game.
The nine arrested are accused, among other things, of throwing objects. It’s recalled that the Red Devils’ Anthony Elanga slammed a coin that fell from the stands in his 2-3 celebrations with Fred.
The incident is being investigated by the English Football Association, who are expected to fine Leeds. Of course, the same club is investigating the incident on camera in order to ban those who committed the specific violations from entering the stadium for life.
