Athletic: ‘55% of United fans don’t want Ronaldo next season’
According to an Athletic poll, 55% of Manchester United fans prefer Cristiano Ronaldo to leave Old Trafford at the end of the season.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s future at Manchester United remains uncertain, according to English reports, with the Portuguese star even considering the possibility of leaving Old Trafford at the end of the season.
The climate at United is not ideal as the team are looking to replace Ralph Rangnick and many player cases remain open.
According to Athletic’s survey of its subscribers, 55% of them are friends from Red Devil replied that he did not want Ronaldo on the team next season.
Specifically, 36% consider his performance to be mediocre, while 18% believes he has not contributed as his performance is “poor” or “very poor”.
At the same time, as many as 60% believe that the German coach did a “good” or “very good” job.
