New findings for Emiliano Sala, he was unconscious before the plane crashed
After the new knowledge of the fatal flight that led to the death of Emiliano Sala, the toxicological investigations revealed that he had lost consciousness before the plane collided.
The plane carrying Argentine striker Emiliano Sala collided with the English Channel crossing on January 21, 2019, resulting in his death. Sala traveled to England to complete his transfer to Cardiff after Nantes struck the deal with the English club.
On October 28, 2021, David Henderson, the man who organized the unfortunate player’s fatal escape, was found guilty by the Cardiff Court. The 67-year-old had confessed he was the one who organized the fatal escape without the Pilot’s license for passenger transport.
The body, found on the plane and discovered on the sea surface by a special team, belonged to the hapless soccer player who disappeared on January 21. The pilot’s body, however, was never found.
However, new evidence is coming to light as the Daily Mirror reports that Sala was unconscious before the crash, after Results of toxicological tests shown high levels of carbon monoxide, which also lead to poisoning.
Special, showed blood saturation of 58% with carbon monoxide, which he described as “severe poisoning” caused by the aircraft’s exhaust system, whose toxic gases had entered the aircraft.
