Liverpool – Leeds 6-0: Stormy reds, the difference with City reduced to three
Liverpool achieved a comfortable and wide victory over Leeds, going 6-0 thanks to two well-aimed penalties from Salah and two goals from Mane, with Mane and Van Dyke scoring a goal each. Burnley shocked Tottenham, four by Crystal Palace.
Liverpool stormed against Leeds as they prevailed 6-0 at Anfield for the postponed game of the 19th Premier League game, closing the gap to three points over champions Manchester City. Klopp kept Costas Tsimikas on the bench throughout the game.
In the 15th minute, the “Reds” opened the shot on goal. Dallas made a hand in Melier’s box and Mohamed Salah converted it into a goal with a well-placed penalty.
The hosts didn’t stop there as they found a second goal with Matip in the 30th minute. The Cameroonian stopper got along very well with Salah and scored the 2-0 from close range.
