Liverpool players dominate goals and assists in the Premier League as they occupy the top three spots.

Liverpool’s 6-0 win over Leeds in a postponed Premier League game has boosted the stats of the ‘red’ players, who now dominate in two categories, goals and assists.

The first three places in the scorer list are occupied by “red” players. Mohamed Salah scored two goals at “Anfield” and reached 19, remaining at the top by one margin. Diogo Zota was injured and did not play, keeping him at 12 goals, while Santio Mane scored twice and reached 10, the same as Manchester City’s Rahim Sterling.

In fact, the Senegalese forward scored a double-digit number of goals in this category in his eighth season, something no other player has managed to do in the same period.

Similar picture in the support level. Salah made it 2-0 for Liverpool (executed by Joel Matip) which meant he caught Trent Alexander Arnold at the top of the table as the England defender failed to create a goal for his team-mate against the ‘Peacocks’. In 3rd place is Andy Robertson, who assisted Virgil van Dyke’s 6-0 to finish ninth in the league.
