Conte: ‘Maybe I’m not good enough to help Tottenham’
Antonio Conte, clearly disappointed after Tottenham’s renewed Premier League defeat to Burnley, claimed he might not be the ideal manager for the team, stressing that while he’s doing what he can, it’s not enough to help .
Burnley scored a valuable win in the Premier League battle on Wednesday evening (24/2) when they beat Tottenham 1-0 at Terf Moore thanks to Mi’s goal in the 71st minute.
Spirounia’s poor results lately, four defeats in the last five games of the league, have led the Italian coach to question his abilities.
Conte, who has a record of 11 wins, three draws and seven defeats since taking over the English club last November, expressed disappointment after the game’s final and said he was ready to discuss his future with the team’s management .
“I came here to help the club and if the problem could be the coaches I’m ready to go, no problem. I’m not used to this situation. I try, but the situation doesn’t change. I am available and open for the club to do what they want.
I work very hard, I spend 20 hours a day at Tottenham and the other four hours I sleep, but that’s not enough. For me the situation is not acceptable. Losing four of Tottenham’s five games is a disaster.
I came to improve the situation. Maybe I’m not good enough at the moment to improve it. We will definitely speak to the club and have a discussion to try and find the best solution to help the team not end up in this situation. E“I am really disappointed.” emphasized the 52-year-old technician.
