Chelsea boutique closed after sanctions against Abramovich
Following the sanctions imposed on Roman Abramovich by the British government, the club’s boutique was immediately closed, remaining open until 11:00 am according to British journalist James Goodison.
The first problems in Chelsea began on Thursday (October 3) after the British government imposed sanctions on the seven Russian oligarchs, including former Blues president Roman Abramovich.
In particular, the “freeze” of their property was announced, a circumstance that makes the sale of Chelsea impossible, at least while the “penalty” is in place.
According to British journalist James Goodison, the imposition of sanctions was followed by the “padlock” at the team’s boutique, which stayed open until 11:00 (13:00 Greek time).
We remember that apart from being “banned” from sales, Chelsea cannot buy or sell players, nor enter into new contracts with its players.
In addition, it will not be able to sell tickets for its home games and only season ticket holders will have access to the stadium, while the stadium will not sell any team products. In other words, only the canteens and restaurants in the stadium are open.
