Guardiola: “We played fantastically, the pitch wasn’t perfect”
In his statements immediately after the end of the game between Manchester United and Crystal Palace, Pep Guardiola said that his team was playing to win but the pitch was “not perfect”.
Manchester City dropped two points at Selhurst Park as they drew 0-0 with Crystal Palace, sparking renewed interest in the Premier League title race.
In his statements immediately after the game, Pep Guardiola was satisfied with the performance of his players but stressed that the field is difficult and the pitch is not good, which prevents his team from playing their football.
“We played to win the game. We created more opportunities and accepted less. The stats are there. The way we played was fantastic, on a difficult pitch where the grass wasn’t perfect“said the Catalan coach after the end of the game.
