Mohamed Salah appears as Barcelona’s No1 goal given the summer, but according to Fabrizio Romano the Egyptian is not keen on leaving Liverpool immediately, where he is signed until 2023.

The latest revelation that Mohamed Salah had turned down Liverpool’s offer to extend their partnership beyond 2023 last December and that negotiations between the two sides have since froze hit the Liverpool camp and supporter ranks like a thunderbolt.

As if that weren’t enough, the first scenarios with potential suitors surfaced very quickly, with the Madrid ace declaring that Barcelona have put the 29-year-old forward at the top of their list and are ready – to lure him – into the club to bid the staggering amount of 84,000,000 over the next four years.

The same article stressed that the Catalans have set aside an amount of around £55m to offer to Liverpool in a bid to quell any reservations and sanction the deal and the player’s move to the Camp Nou.

However, the above scenario doesn’t seem to be on Salah’s mind at the moment as Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano claims the player doesn’t have La Liga in mind and he will blackmail situations to leave the moment he is in fact still a year with the Reds bound by contract.

“Mo Salah has no plans to move to La Liga at the moment. He doesn’t want to leave this summer, his contract expires in June 2023 where he can leave on a free transfer.

Mo is currently focused on Liverpool. “Negotiations on his new contract remain frozen, it’s up to Liverpool what will happen.” mentions features through his personal Twitter account.
