Tottenham 3-1 West Ham: Won the derby and remains in the Bay of Four
Tottenham beat West Ham 3-1 in the mini-London derby to climb to 5th in the standings, now at -3 from 4th Arsenal, who have more games compared to the Gunners.
West Ham arrived at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with great psychology from the historic 2-0 win over Sevilla on Thursday night and qualifying for Europa League 8, but also with obvious weariness, with Tottenham not missing the opportunity and subduing their compatriot in the frame the 30th game of the Premier League.
Antonio Conte’s team outperformed Moges and qualified for the final with a 3-1 score, with Sean the great protagonist of the hosts and scoring two of Spurs’ three goals (the first was a “gift” from Zuma who scored an own goal).
It should be noted that this was the first time since last December that Tottenham had enjoyed back-to-back wins in the Premier League (preceding that by beating Brighton away), with the north London team rising to 5th in the rankings and just under three points the compatriot Arsenal, even with more game.
TOTENAM: Loris, Romero, Dyer, Davis, Doherty, Bentancourt, Hoiberg, Regillon (88′ Royal), Kulusewski (90′ Berhvain), Sean (90′ Moura), Kane
WEST HAM: Fabianski, Zuma, Dawson, Creswell, Johnson, Sucek, Rice, Mazuaku (56′ Fornals), Benrahma, Lancini (84′ Vlasic) Antonio (56′ Yarmolenko)
