Zota compared Tsimika to Thiago and the Greek emerged victorious
Costas Tsimikas was the main contributor to Liverpool’s win, sharing the assist with Zotas, with the Portuguese likening ‘Tsimi’ to Thiago and the Greek defender emerging ‘winner’.
Liverpool overcame Forrest’s resistance 1-0 to celebrate qualifying for 4th place in the FA Cup. Zota was the one who gave the Reds victory thanks to his goal, with Kostas Tsimikas providing him with an assist.
The Greek defender, who starred in the winning goal, celebrated it with a smoky hand, posting the accompanying photo on social media. In the title of the post except “Voilà” Tsimikas also wrote Delivery (= passes), with Zotas commenting and presenting the 25-year-old with a dilemma.
In particular, he wanted to compare him to Thiago, with the Greece international emerging as the ‘winner’ and highlighting the Spaniard as the best passes and assists.
We remind you that the Portuguese goal created a storm of excitement in the stands that housed the Liverpool fans and this resulted in smoke being thrown onto the pitch as the former Olympiacos ace took action.
This was through his move to pick up the smoke and take it off the field, with Tsimikas acting more circumspectly than Harvey Eliot, who in a similar setting kicked up the smoke after winning the League Cup and began celebrating as he led the English FA around him asking for explanations for his behavior.
