In an interview with French media, Paul Pogba stated, among other things, that he didn’t know if he had a role at Manchester United.

Paul Pogba gave an interview to France’s Le Figaro and some parts of it were leaked on Tuesday (22/03) while it was published in full today (23/03).

The Manchester United France midfielder spoke harshly about his side as he stressed he feels better in the France national team, while wondering if he has a role with the ‘Red Devils’. It is recalled that the 29-year-old midfielder will remain on a free transfer after the end of the season.

Details of what Pogba has said about his role in France and Greece: First of all, I agree with this statement. It’s the truth. Here (with France) I have a lot more time on my feet, the system is different than at my club.

Actually it’s easy, with France I’m playing in front of my pitch. I know my role, I can feel the trust of the coach and the players. It’s normal to feel that difference at United because it’s difficult to be consistent when you’re changing positions, playing style or who you’re playing with a lot“.

For his role in France: It’s not just that. I’m doing very well at Deschamps, he’s given me a role that I know, but do I really have a role at Manchester United? I ask myself this question and have no answer“.

For his future: i want nto keep winning, improving and moving on from the years of not winning a trophy. We have to be honest, I haven’t been happy in the last five years, but not in all those years. This year they are “dead”, we won’t win anything anymore. Whether it’s with Manchester or another team, I want to win trophies“.
