The Premier League has announced the next 25 Hall of Fame nominees
Following the induction of Wayne Rooney and Patrick Vieira into the Premier League Hall of Fame, the promoter announced the list of 25 new inductees for 2022, with six players to choose from for fans.
The Premier League Hall of Fame grows and multiplies after Eric Cantona, Alan Shearer, Thierry Henry, Roy Keane, Dennis Bergkamp, Frank Lampard, Steven Gerrard and David Beckham, who joined Patrick Vieira in the 21st, get started made for 2022, completing an enviable football dozen.
However, the list of top players is soon to grow as the Premier League announces on Wednesday afternoon (23/3) the list of 25 other candidates to be inducted into the Hall of Fame this year, with the supporter community having the opportunity to choose Six of them will write their names in even brighter letters in the island’s footballing history.
The latest addition to the squad is Sergio Aguero, who hung up his boots last December and has spent an incredible 10 years at Manchester City with Manchester United at the helm.
In fact, among the 25 veteran players eyeing that major individual accolade, there are three who have yet to experience the joy of winning a league title: Robbie Fowler, Matt Le Tissier and Les Ferdinand.
It should be noted that fans have the right to vote via the official Premier League website until 21:00 (UK time) on the third day of April.
