Police have opened an investigation into a fan’s alleged attack on veteran footballer Roy Keane at Arsenal’s game against Manchester United.
Arsenal’s great 3-1 win over Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium was marred by a violent brawl between a fan and Micah Richards and Roy Keane.
The two experienced footballers who worked for Sky Sports on coverage of the game had a heated argument with a fan.
According to the Daily Mail, Mr Roy Keane got into a fight with this man while waiting for the elevator to take him to the field. The fan is said to have headbutted the former Red Devils player.
The two former soccer players have commented on the incidents and the police have already opened an investigation into the alleged assault, but no arrests have been made.
