Takeover of Everton by 777 Partners: agreement to purchase 94.1% of shares
There is a change of ownership at Everton: the American 777 Partners agree to buy 94.1% of the English team’s shares from the previous major shareholder Farad Moshiri.
Developments at Everton are rapid. The confectioners announced that they were switching sides and the American company 777 Partners agreed with Farad Moshiri to acquire his shares.
According to Everton’s announcement, Moshiri’s share represents 94.1% of the total shares, with the Americans effectively taking ownership into their own hands once the transfer is complete.
777 Partners has stakes in a number of teams including Genoa, Vasco da Gama, Hertha, Standard Liège, Red Star, Melbourne Victory and Sevilla.
“Our primary aim is to work to develop the sporting and commercial structures so that the men’s and women’s teams deliver results for future generations of Everton fans.”said the company founder.
