Klopp when asked about Salah’s future: ‘Are you kidding? Couldn’t you wait until December?’
When asked about Salah’s future and whether the Saudis will return in January, Jürgen Klopp gave a disarming answer.
Al Ittihad urged Liverpool to sign Mohamed Salah. The club from Saudi Arabia offered the Reds more than 230 million euros, but they were not impressed by the first decision: “We are not selling him.”
It is possible that the Saudis will return in the winter transfer window, and a similar question was asked to Jürgen Klopp, who replied that he was not worried, but in a special way: “Are you kidding? A week after the window closes, you’re asking me about transfers in January.
They can’t wait to ask me until December. I’m not worried about it and wasn’t until he reopened the wound. No, I’m not worried” he told the reporter specifically.
He also referred to Jordan Henderson: “Hendo told the truth. He was too. We had conversations, I told him I wanted him, but we talked about how he wouldn’t play often.”
I can’t tell a player he’s going to play 50 games because I don’t know. In Henderson’s mind and ears, he thought I didn’t want him. If I said Hedo was my main protagonist, he would stay, but I couldn’t say that.
