Eric Ten Haan was asked about the case of Jadon Sancho and Anthony and stressed that he had been asked by Manchester United to set strict rules.

Manchester United have announced that Jadon Sancho will train alone from now on following his public row with Erik ten Haag. In fact, Athletic wrote that the Englishman refused to apologize to his coach.

The Manchester United coach was asked about Sancho and avoided answering:Everything has been said about him. As I said, my squad is strong, with a good spirit and good attitude.”

He then emphasized that he had been asked to be strict by the club: “The meaning is rigor. The club asked me to do this because there was no good culture before the end of last season.”

I had to set some standards and I did. The team is everything. If someone, be it a player or a staff member, crosses the boundary of the building, you have to be strong.”

Finally, he emphasized that he had no idea whether Anthony would play for Manchester United again. The Brazilian is under investigation after women complained about violent behavior.
