According to the Telegraph, one of the three women who accused Anthony of violent behavior has withdrawn the complaint against the Manchester United winger.
Anthony is accused of violent behavior by three women. As part of the investigation into domestic violence against his ex-partner, two other women have accused him.
However, one of the three women withdrew her complaint, reports the Telegraph. She is a law student, Raisa de Freitas, who filed a police report against their Brazilian midfielder Manchester Unitedin which she claimed she needed hospital treatment after she was found in Anthony’s car with another woman following her “visit” to a club in Sao Paulo in May 2022.
According to reports A third woman, Ingrin Lana, 33, claimed Anthony pushed her against a wall and tried to have sex with her when she visited him at his home in Manchester last October.
For his part, the Brazilian international emphasized that he was innocent and was cooperating with the police.
United commented on the developments and stressed that the Brazilian would remain away from training until further notice, while the Brazilian Football Federation has also banned him from the national team’s World Cup qualifiers against Peru and Bolivia.
